What is Vliets designs?
A branding made by yours truely in order to represent myself. I’ve worked quite hard to find a branding I actually like. Such as four rounds of different types of wordpress website through which I now have become quite adept in wordpress.
This page is designated for showing how I came to my branding, how I made my logo and how I designed a branding behind the core values of myself & how I design my projects.
This is how I started working on my branding. I wanted it to represent fun, creativity and professionalism. A clients project should be a fun project for both involved. You are working with people, not with companies. That’s why I wanted my design to look a bit more playful instead of the tight corporate aesthetic. I also wanted it to represent professional creativity (Meaning I do creative work for a living and can be trusted with your project).
You will also be able to see some tests I did before making the first versions of my branding. Some typography tests, color tests & such.
You can also see the companies I took inspiration from such as Yellowbrand, Extract & Evers+DeGier. Its what I find admirable about their brandings and how they work with contrast between typography, size & cleanliness contrasting designing elements.
Previous designs for the website
This webdesign is the first design I made on adobe XD (Since that’s a skill I also have). As you can see this entire version of the design I made was the very first design for the website. I wanted to play with live elements and gradients made out of blocks instead of just bald and gray and uninspiring. But this was very ambitious for someone who barely
remembered wordpress. The design of the website you see right now is actually made through five different versions and all made within wordpress. It took long before I remembered all I had learned about wordpress, but i nthe end this website will be the result of all that I’ve learned!
Final Result
Here you can see the final outcomes of all that I’ve designed for Vliets design. The final logo’s, some mockups & the website you are on right now is also a product of this branding project.
In the future I will make more based on this design, but this is all I have so far. Maybe one day I’ll even print something based on my branding.
